Half through the Summer Holidays...
Here we are again, time really does fly! August has already started, July seems to have vanished into thin (hot!) air and... Toronto is coming nearer... With only one holiday left: good old Belgian Sea Side with grandparents, the traditional holiday-closing ritual in our family, because when we get back there is usually only time left to get the garden and house ready for another hectic year! This year, of course, there is the additional anxiety, which has settled among my parents and grandparents, about getting me ready for Canada. My grandmother is mainly concerned about my meals and cloth-washing, my grandfather worries about my transfer from the airport to my room and my mother is worried about getting all my stuff on location! Quite funny all together, as I didn't start worrying about the whole thing yet, but I'm sure that feeling will reach me when we get back from our sea trip!
July has been lovely, our nice trip to Spain (a holiday in the footsteps of Salvador DalĂ, you could say!) and a lovely week in Oostende are already over. August will be a bit less busy and then, there's of course September 6th! Bring it on! I am ready baby! (dixit Mushu in Disney's Mulan, for the fans ;-) !!!! )
